Shibori technique: Nui Shibori
The 100% cotton dyed fabric is intricately hand sewn, tied and dyed. The stitches are then carefully unpicked and the cloth washed to reveal it's pattern. No two pieces are the same.
The fabric is hand dyed (using a fiber reactive dye) in small batches.
The textile is slightly approximately 9.5” x 12.5” and is attached to a 11" x 14" white mat. Piece is sold matted (*Frame not included). It will fit a standard 11 x 14 inch frame.
This is an original piece of art (not a print).
