Shibori technique: Nui Shibori
The 100% cotton fabric is intricately hand sewn, tied and dyed. The stitches are then carefully unpicked and the cloth washed to reveal its pattern. No two pieces are the same.
The fabric is hand dyed, in small batches, using a fiber reactive dye.
The textile is slightly approximately 9.5” x 12.5” and is attached to a 11" x 14" white mat. Piece is sold matted (*Frame not included). It will fit a standard 11 x 14 inch frame.
